The Lucy Resort was opened
in October 2004 and is operated under Vietnamese
and Austrian management. After a six-month construction
period Lucy and Alexander Recklies have created
magical and unique vacation paradise out of
a coconut covered sandy land. During the construction
both paid attention to the traditional Vietnamese
method of building with all western standards
and maintain the original atmosphere of the
palm Tree beach. Between the numerous Coconut
palms and other tropical plants, 26 Bungalows,
a restaurant and a cocktail bar near the beach
vicinity were erected. We have showers next
to the direct access to the private beach and
the entrance to the Lucy Resort where we have
a large swimming pool for are guest to enjoy.
Each of the Bungalows is covered with a thatched
palm Tree leaf roof that provides a comfortable
room climate in this tropical area, it has a
balcony, ceiling fan and bathroom. Some of the
26 Bungalows are also equipped with an air conditioning.
For your pleasure and enjoyment we provide
the best cuisine. In our restaurant you find
a menu that offers something for every taste
in typically Vietnamese cuisine, Seafood dishes
and other mouth watering delights. We also have
Austrian and Western cuisine.
Our bar is open until late at night and offers
a multitude at Cocktails, fresh fruit juices,
Italian coffee and a wide selection of beer
and wine for you to enjoy.
There is a 12 km long sandy beach strewn with
colourful shells, a great paradise for shell
collector or a great walk on beach with great
sunsets and sunrises to view each day.
Many water sports are chosen at this beach.
Especially Kite surfing and wind surfing where
many people come to for the uniform inland wind
that blows over a large part of the year around
and makes ideal conditions for these water sports.
In the winter the Asian championships in Kite
surfing are held in this area.
In addition the area also has many great excursion
possibilities that are offered and are near
the Lucy Resort. One can visit the red and white
Sand dunes, a romantic waterfall, the unique
breath taking Canyon or the fishing village
Mui ne. The largest laying Buddha in Viet Nam
is only 50 km from the Lucy Resort. Day Trips
or Excursions can be booked any time.
Because the sea in the direct vicinity is not
be suitable for scuba diving, we organized for
Diving and Snorkel excursions at the seaside
City of NhaTrang where a friendly English speaking
Dive Instructors provide a one and half day
trip with transfer, overnight stay and 2 dives
from the Dive boat, and which includes breakfast
and lunch. (See price list).
If you would just like to escape everyday stresses
of life, then put yourself into the cultivated
palm Tree garden and simply slip into a hammock
and let the body and soul relax and become one
with nature.
